Big THANK YOU to everyone that came to VOLKSTOCK IV!
(We can only hope that the club "board of directors" votes again in favor of a VOLKSTOCK V!!)
Inge and I were very proud to host this event again this year. You all are a great group of people and an extension of our family. If you had work performed on your car, we hope you are satisfied. If you stayed in one of our rooms, we hope you were comfortable. If you needed anything, we hope you received it.
Thanks to EVERYONE for being GREAT guest!!
Cleanup is complete!!
Hope you are enjoying your naps!

Thanks Ken and Inge for everything, again. It's generous enough to offer garage space and camping spots to us, but then you invite us into your house! You cover all the bases that I (we) neglect, and it works out real good. I hope we left enough money to cover, or at least help with what you spent on all the food.
I didn't mean to dodge getting lunch for everyone, but when I asked around about getting subs, everyone was still full from the biscuits. Loved the Mexican restaurant Sat. night.
Hope everyone's satisfied with the work we all accomplished. I'm bushed. _________________ '69 Bug, 1776, dual kadrons, Web 111 cam

Thanks to Ken and Inge for putting up with people all over their house, pool, and garage. Better hosts we couldn't find. We had a great time and accomplished a lot. I now have functional horn, working driving lights, (thanks Pete) and much happier carbs.
We had at least 4 engines dropped, fixed and reinstalled. A rear end rebushed and indexed, brakes fixed, food eaten, beverages consumed, and more fun than is usually legally allowed.
Start the countdown to Volkstock 5! _________________ 73 Typ481

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
Ken and Inge you guys ROCK. Fab weekend, best yet!
Great to see everyone and hang out.
Some highlights:
Jon offroading around your yard testing the spotlights like a drunk redneck!
The endless biscuits (Dugi was still eating them when he went to bed)
Ken (aka The AAA) getting into the "skull bus" for the first time.
Inge's "bottoms up".
Canadian Coffee (Still have the headache).
Can't wait for VS5. Might cut down on the Canadian Coffee ;)
Almost got home in one piece, the Electric bus decided to drop a drive shaft as we turned on to 20... not fun lying in a puddle, as trucks drove by trying to re-attach it!
At least the wheels didn't come off!
Next year we'll need the torque czar to have expanded responsiblities!
Thanks again to all... see you soon.
Pete, Mindy, Dugi, Verity & Harry. |

Cleaned the idle jets and circuits, changed accel. pump jets to 35s, and cleaned the carbs in general. Clyde adjusted the mixture screws. One did nothing to change the idle. Running much better, but still slow to accelerate from a stop. _________________ 73 Typ481

There is a possible correlation between my recent adjustment of the current limit from 250A to 400A ? - mmmm, the dial goes up to 750A... |

we need to put that thing on my chassis dyno and see just how much torque it is putting down!!
I really need to do one of those myself.. Have the perfect '73 Super to install the works into! _________________ Jake Raby
